Ashley Cooper, LMHC
I believe that the ability to heal lies within each of us. Together we can help you access the wisdom and strength you already possess. I use techniques that foster a greater sense of connection with your body, helping you to become more attuned to your experiences and their impact on your daily life.
Treating individuals, couples and families, I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and trauma. Our work together can provide a path towards deeper understanding, health and well-being. Whether it is a relationship, food, or learning to live in the present rather than in the story of your past, let’s find a way to make meaning and move forward.
I hold a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from New York University and have training in Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I completed advanced Eating Disorder training from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy’s Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia.
Whatever your challenges, they are important, and you don’t have to face them alone. Please call (646) 461-4619, or email me using the form below for an Appointment.
